The Bank of Clarke County team is continually monitoring information and preventative measures taken by government and regulatory agencies regarding COVID-19. As an essential business, we continue to be open and fully staffed to ensure we are doing everything we can to help the communities and clients we have the privilege of serving.
Our branch lobbies are now open with appropriate CDC and Virginia Department of Health precautions. Many employees from our back offices will continue to work remotely so we can ensure appropriate social distancing throughout our environment.
If you are feeling unwell or are quarantining due to a possible exposure, we ask that you leverage our digital banking services.
As the safety of our customers and employees is of paramount importance, we will seek to maintain social distancing guidelines within our branches. When you come to the branch, you will see floor stickers that provide guidance to ensure a minimum of 6’ between our patrons, we will have free standing hand sanitizer stations to use as needed, and we have placed plexiglass barriers between our associates and our customers. Furthermore, with executive order 63, we require masks within our branches. In some cases, to verify identity, you may be asked to quickly remove your mask (with the protection of the plexiglass) for certain transactions.
I would encourage you to continue to leverage our online suite of products, our customer call center, and our drive-thru whenever possible; especially if you are feeling unwell. We have also introduced a new way to bank with us through Video Chat. Simply click on the Video Chat button on our website home screen and speak directly (and see) an associate that can help you with all your banking needs, from the comfort of your home, office, or anywhere in between.
As your community bank, we are here for you now and always. Please remember that we offer multiple ways to remotely access your accounts and manage your finances, including:
Taking care of our customers, our employees, and our community is the Bank of Clarke County’s primary concern. We very much appreciate your continued trust during this difficult period.
All the best to you,
