As an essential business, we continue to be open and fully staffed to ensure we are doing everything we can to help the communities and clients we have the privilege of serving. The health and safety of our customers and employees have been Bank of Clarke’s top priority throughout the pandemic. We have closely and consistently followed the CDC’s and state of Virginia’s recommendations throughout the pandemic. Given the CDC’s updated guidance, Bank of Clarke no longer requires fully vaccinated* customers and employees to wear face coverings in our branches and offices, except where it is required by local ordinances. Face coverings continue to be strongly recommended for customers and employees who are not fully vaccinated, and we continue our increased safety and cleaning measures, including social distancing, throughout our locations.
*People are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after they have received the second dose in a 2-dose series (Pfizer or Moderna), or 2 weeks after they have received a single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson)
